What you will learn, and experience?

I will guide you through a journey of the 7 main chakras, or energy centers of the body. These wheels of light are portals that connect our physical body to our etheric body or quantum biofield, and communicate between these states of reality to create our world through our thoughts and perceptions. When they are blocked, over-charged or dysfunctional in their expression we can experience disharmony in our physical and emotional experience. Through the ancient practise of toning and sounding, we can hack the biofield and increase our frequency to come into resonance with our most vital and empowered timeline and expression. This 7 week journey will give you an opportunity to dive deep into working with frequency and intention to heal, grow and empower your life in fun, magical and miraculous ways. It is my great passion to empower and inspire others to unlock the healing power of their voice, to empower and activate their own healing abilities, and manifest the life of their dreams. We will explore vocal singing practices and rituals to strengthen your connection to sound and your instrument. We will explore energetic and psychological blocks that might be holding you back from sharing your heart song. We will deep dive into the realms of sound and uncover the gems awaiting within. We will learn songs and mantras to raise your frequency, uplift your mood, and shift or effectively process emotions. These practices will shift your relationship with your voice, and give you tools to navigate nervous system regulation, while accessing your own inner power. This journey will support you in feeling more confident to speak your truth, and to work with the emotions you experience to generate powerful messages through song and sound. We will discuss what holds us back from sharing our voices and work with our younger selves, to integrate abandoned, fragmented and outcasted aspects of our authentic expression. About Me and What I Offer in this Vocal Alchemy Journey

My name is Surya Light, a name given to me by a teacher of mine in India who saw this expression of the divine within me. I have been journeying through the cosmic realms since I was a child. I grew up the youngest of four girls, and we all sang, all the time! My mom was even the teacher of our choir in primary school. We used to record Christmas songs and send them to our grandparents as gifts. I was always given permission to sing, for this I am so grateful. I believe part of my work here is to empower others to share their voices, and connect with the healing power of music and sound. Music has always been a huge part of my life, and after many years developing my voice and musical offerings in the realms of ceremonial facilitation, I am excited to be offering this vocal alchemy series to share all I have learned along my journey of sound and song, yoga and energy healing, and to create a space for you to explore the beauty and depth of your voice, in a safe and empowering container.
