Surya Light is a spiritual mentor, sound alchemist, and embodiment guide dedicated to awakening the divine potential within every soul. Her name, given by a teacher in India, reflects the radiance she carries—light guided by deep inner knowing.
From a young age, Surya sensed the invisible. Highly intuitive and emotionally attuned, she followed the voice of her inner wisdom, which led her to ancient yogic teachings, energy healing, plant medicine, and the path of ceremonial facilitation. For over 20 years, she has walked as a teacher and guide—offering yoga, meditation, empowerment coaching, energy and sound healing, and vocal activation to communities across the world.
Surya believes our sensitivity is our superpower. Her work supports others to transmute pain into purpose, and to live in the frequency of unconditional love—embodied, expressed, and shared.
Raised in a musical family, Surya has been singing since childhood. Harmony came naturally—around the dinner table, on road trips, in sacred spaces of togetherness. Music is her breath of life and the most authentic expression of her spirit. Through sound, she channels healing, remembering, and divine connection—and invites others to reclaim their voice, too.
As a certified E-RYT 500 yoga teacher and YACEP, Surya's foundation in Hatha yoga—rooted in her studies on the banks of the Ganges—remains at the core of her practice. She weaves Hatha, Vinyasa, Ashtanga, and Yin to create nourishing containers for transformation. Her presence is warm, playful, and deeply intuitive, offering a safe space to come home to the Self.
Trained in Reiki and Integrative Energy Healing, Surya blends intuitive and shamanic techniques, song and spirit channeling, and sacred tools—rattles, drums, crystals, oils, and plant allies—to clear energetic blocks and restore balance. She serves as a grid priestess of the rose lineage, a steward of divine feminine wisdom, and a mentor for souls ready to rise.
Passionate about youth empowerment, she also supports children in recognizing their sensitivities as gifts, cultivating inner strength and self-trust from an early age.
